Free to good home! We're making some changes in the garden and want to pass on the rest of our raspberry canes.
Two buckets (one white, one yellow) full of canes w/roots are in front of the Columbia City Healing Arts Center, on the corner of Angeline and 38th. Feel free to take 'em, buckets and all—no need to knock, just go plant 'em.
The fruits are yummy red raspberries. Don't recall the variety but it gives two flushes of berries a year. Plants fruit on existing wood in the spring (ripe around June); cut these old canes back when the fruit is gone. New canes also grow in the spring and fruit in August; leave these canes til the next year when they'll fruit again in June.
